1. Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) - Texas Tech University

Veritas AI is an AI program for ambitious high school students, founded and run by Harvard graduate students. In the AI + Medicine Deep Dive, students learn how AI is used in the healthcare and medical industry. Students get a chance to work on real-world projects using AI & ML models to diagnose diseases, sharpen medical scans, and explain their outcomes to aid doctors and patients. 3. Pre-Med Camp at UT Tyler 

Location: University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine, TX

Eligibility: Must have completed 9th, 10th or 11th grade

The Lumiere Research Scholar Program is a rigorous research program tailored for high school students. The program offers extensive 1-on-1 research opportunities for high school students across a broad range of subject areas that you can explore as a high schooler. The program pairs high school students with Ph.D. mentors to work 1-on-1 on an independent research project. At the end of the 12-week program, you’ll have developed an independent research paper! You can choose research topics from subjects such as psychology, physics, economics, data science, computer science, engineering, chemistry, international relations, and more. 5. COHS Summer Camp

Location: Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, TX

Eligibility: Junior or Senior high school student; Minimum GPA of 3.0


The COHS Summer Camp is a 3-day residential program for juniors and seniors interested in health sciences. You’ll engage in interactive faculty-led sessions across four disciplines—Nursing, Kinesiology, Human Sciences, and Public Health. The camp allows you to interact with health professionals and current SHSU students across those fields. You’ll live in dorms, dine in campus facilities, and tour SHSU’s main campus. A chartered bus will take you to the Woodlands Center to explore the School of Nursing. The schedule blends academic engagement with social activities to help you explore future studies and careers.

6. June Camp - Dell Medical School

At Dell Medical School’s June Camp, you’ll experience what it’s like to be  a healthcare professional for a week. You’ll also explore laboratory science and medical technology while earning certifications in first aid and CPR/AED. 7. Texas Tech Health El Paso Summer Medcamp

Texas A&M’s Veterinary Science Overnight Camps provide a preview of veterinary medicine. Camps are offered at three locations and last 3–4 days, with each session limited to 30 students. You'll work alongside a licensed DVM and gain 6–18 clinical hours, 20+ clinical skills, and over 20 classroom hours. Activities range from animal care and research exposure to ambulatory services and lab work. The camp is designed to help you explore whether veterinary or animal science is the right fit for you. Clinical and classroom hours may also count toward a Veterinary Assistant Certification from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension.

9. Health Sciences Summer Camp - Baylor Scott & White McLane Children's
