Althought not a traditional internship, Veritas AI offers several work-learn programs for high school students interested in artificial intelligence. Students who are looking to get started with AI, ML, and data science will benefit from the AI Scholars program. It introduces students to the basics of machine learning, AI, and data science through a structured 10-session boot camp, culminating in real-world project work. Also known as the PCOM Georgia Opportunities Academy, the program offers weeklong hands-on opportunities to learn about pursuing healthcare professions. As a participant, you will engage in clinical skills simulations at the Simulation Center, explore the anatomy lab, study heart and brain anatomy, learn CPR, and gain practical healthcare experience. The program also provides guidance on the college application process and opportunities to network with physicians, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.
